We would like to thank all of those who contributed to the success of the 2012 Flamingo Film Festival. We would also like to thank the student filmmakers who entered this year’s festival. Without all of your help, this festival would not have been possible.
On April 11, 2012, the Flamingo Film Festival Kickstarter campaign exceeded its fundraising goal through the generous support of about 30 individual donors. The success of our online campaign allowed us waive the entry fee for students and made it possible for us to promote this festival throughout the South Florida community. The following is a list of our individual donors that we owe a huge debt of gratitude to:
Mary Cameron, James Chianese, Heidi Clark, Carlos Crespo, Philippe Chanelet Dardenne, George Del Pino, Josephine Del Pino, Maria Del Pino, Monica Del Pino, Tyler Dexter, Shane Eason, Farley Fairlane, Mary Forrest, Rob Franceschini, James Gan, Chris Gore, Markis Hernandez, Eric Longstaff, Wesley Marshall, Jonathan O’Neill, Michael O’Neill, Eric Opeka, Sheena Orr, Rich Ott, Jacqueline Perez, Michael & Marcia Perez, Heidi Joy Pike, Nancy & Hector Ramirez, Jon Reino, Brian Troxell, Gabriela Villazon, Nancy Vincenty, Jamie Waterman, John & Joyce Waterman, and Lumpy Space Princess.
Pictured above on an April 3rd broadcast of G4’s Attack of the Show, Chris Gore wears an inaugural Flamingo Film Festival t-shirt during his segment DVDuesdays. Chris has been so generous to donate signed copies of his book, The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide, to our Kickstarter campaign, and he has been instrumental in helping us meet our fundraising goals. Thank you, everyone for all of your support!!
